Lilyan Tashman was an American film actress. Tashman was best known for her supporting roles as the vindictive “other woman.” She made 66 films over the course of her Hollywood career. Tall, blonde, and slender, she started in silent movies and easily navigated the transition to sound film.
Lilyan married twice, and her wardrobe and lavish parties became the talk of the town. She lived life in a big way. She tragically died of cancer in New York City on March 21, 1934 at the age of 37.
Mae Murray (1885 – 1965) was an American actress, who rose to fame during the silent film era and was known as “The Girl with the Bee-Stung Lips”. She married four times, and ended up with very little money after her husbands drained her of most of her wealth.
Joan Bennet, (1910 – 1990) was an American actress who appeared in more than 70 films from the era of silent movies, well into the 1970s. In 1951, she was involved in a scandal when her third husband, shot and injured her agent. Her husband suspected she was having an affair, which she denied. She married 4 times.
